Keep an ongoing document for tasks that must be completed before, during and after the launch of every project. It is very easy to forget these in the weeks and months leading up to a launch, so be as detailed as possible on exactly what is needed.
This can include details around data migration, import/export of entities, scripts which must be run in a particular order, etc.
Separate this document out into:
- Pre Go Live.
- Go Live.
- Post Go Live.
Add or remove steps as required to create a running order of exactly what needs to happen on each day for a successful launch of a product or feature.
